What we shoot across the Eastern Suburbs

The east splits into three briefs. The beach suburbs of Bondi, Bronte and Coogee are apartment-heavy, where the walk to the sand and any genuine ocean glimpse carry the campaign. Paddington and Woollahra are Victorian terrace country, tightly held and detail-rich, where the photography has to open small rooms up and respect the period character. And the harbour side, from Double Bay through Rose Bay to Vaucluse, is prestige territory where the view, the grounds and the finish set a presentation bar as high as anywhere in the country.

The common thread is that buyers here pay for lifestyle as much as floor plan, so the gallery has to sell the postcode as well as the property: the light off the water, the street, the village strip.

Light and timing in the east

Coastal light changes fast. East-facing beachside aspects want morning exteriors before the haze flattens the colour, while the harbour side faces the city and takes its best frame at dusk, which is why twilight shoots earn their keep from Double Bay to Vaucluse. Sea breezes are a real factor for drone work, so aerials are planned for the calmer morning window.

Interiors in the coastal apartment stock live and die on the window pull: holding the view in the glass while the room still reads bright is most of the job.

Parking, beach traffic and building access

Parking is the honest logistical story of the east, and we plan for it: loading zones and permit streets around Bondi and Paddington, security buildings and lift bookings in the Double Bay apartment stock, and weekend beach traffic that can swallow a schedule. Shoots here get sequenced around access first, because gear carried three blocks changes what a morning can hold.
